The words ‘supply chain’ have never been more in the news than in 2020. the world-wide covid-19 pandemic had presidents and prime ministers across the world talking about the importance of effective supply chains, to ensure essential equipment was available to key workers everywhere. this crisis demonstrated how important the different aspects of the supply chain are, from procurement, through manufacturing and transportation, to storage and delivery to the front line.
