The neuroscience major (designated as a pre-major) is the study of the nervous system with a special emphasis on the brain. neuroscience spans many academic fields, including biology, psychology and chemistry. courses develop a thorough understanding of the nervous system, from molecules and genes to behavior and motor skills, and related disorders.
