The theatre major provides professionally focused training within the context of a rigorous liberal arts education. the intensive curriculum develops critical thinking, social engagement, imagination and multi-dimensional artistry. we work to create a positive and collaborative environment that is inclusive as well as responsive to the needs and goals of the 21st-century artist. concentrations in design/technology, performance, theatre education, and theatre studies offer further opportunities to build skills withing specific profesional disciplines.

Practicums are required in the theatre curriculum through main stage and summer productions. theatre faculty assist students in finding and procuring internships throughout the usa in the various areas of theatre.

Work while you study
