Lancaster’s joint spanish studies and computing is taught by the department of languages and cultures in conjunction with the school of computing and communications. your spanish studies programme enables you to acquire high-level language skills and gain a thorough understanding of the country’s historical, cultural, social and political background in a global context. in computing, you’ll focus on developing professional skills, including extensive study of software and systems development.

Work while you study

You can also work on a UK student visa, from 10 to 20 hours per week during the academic year, 40 hours per week or full-time during vacations.
