In this course, by looking at the complex interactions between the state, the offender, the victim and society. you will think critically about how laws are made and how social structures shape both crime and crime control. as a criminology student at lsbu, you will be able to engage in a series of employability events. criminology courses open pathways to careers in a variety of settings, including probation, policing, the prison service, ngos, local authorities, the voluntary sector, youth offending teams, teaching, social work and administration.
