Modern Languages and Philosophy

This joint honours course will give you the opportunity to start to make sense of the world around you, and gain fluency in the language of your choice - french, german, italian or spanish. whether you start at beginners’, advanced or native-speaker level, you will study the core language components for the language you have chosen, gaining skills in writing, reading, speaking and listening. all our language teaching is led by native speakers.

ELP programs are offered by universities or pathway institutions to assist students in achieving the language proficiency required for academic studies. You can get admitted to your course with a lower language requirement if you do an ELP program.

Work while you study

You can also work on a UK student visa, from 10 to 20 hours per week during the academic year, 40 hours per week or full-time during vacations.
