The vast majority of our graduates enter employment at graduate level. when you graduate you will have a professional social work qualification. this will allow you to apply to the sssc to be registered as a newly qualified social worker and to start applying for employment as a social worker. it means you can work across a range of social work roles in the statutory, voluntary and private sectors, and also in a range of allied professions. you will be fully equipped to work as an accountable, autonomous professional in partnership with individuals, families, groups, organisations and communities. you will also have developed a range of highly transferable skills, such as communication and project management, which can be applied to roles in any field.
Work while you study
You can also work on a UK student visa, from 10 to 20 hours per week during the academic year, 40 hours per week or full-time during vacations.
