Our interdisciplinary programme equips the business leaders of tomorrow with the skills and knowledge to address the pressures and opportunities facing business as a result of intensifying environmental and corporate social responsibility issues. designed for anyone interested in becoming an adaptable and resilient leader, able to understand the changing needs of modern business and drive change forward by contributing to long-term ethical solutions. you will study a wide range of business topics including accounting, economics, organisational theory and analytics, as well as key topics in environmental change. there are options to undertake relevant work placements and study abroad to further contextualise the issues faced by businesses in an increasingly environmentally aware and global society. builds on the strengths of our innovative bsc business programme and the business school’s commitment to integrating environmental responsibility.

This course is available with a placement year option where you will study for 1 additional year.the placement year provides you with a fantastic opportunity to broaden your horizons and develop valuable skills and contacts through working with a self-sourced organisation relevant to your degree subject.

The wide range of business, management and environmental skills developed throughout the programme will result in flexible employment options including roles such as project manager, marketing manager and sales manager. you will have employment advantages in private companies, public organisations, investment banks, ngos, and third-sector industries, including key areas for cornwall such as, water, renewables and food supply chain. this combination of ethical, work-based, and global skills will create students who can compete at the highest levels and progress onto graduate programmes to become csr managers, change managers and environmental consultants.

Work while you study

You can also work on a UK student visa, from 10 to 20 hours per week during the academic year, 40 hours per week or full-time during vacations.
