Human Rights Law

The programme provides training and insights for those who have a professional or academic interest in an evolving human rights culture. graduates in law and other disciplines, or those with relevant professional qualifications, will have the opportunity to develop a detailed understanding of human rights law at uk, european and international levels.

ELP programs are offered by universities or pathway institutions to assist students in achieving the language proficiency required for academic studies. You can get admitted to your course with a lower language requirement if you do an ELP program.

We work closely with the university's careers service. they offer advice and guidance on career planning and looking for and applying for jobs. in addition, they administer and publicise graduate and work experience opportunities. our graduates can, and have progressed to research studies such as mphil and phd in human rights law leading to an academic career. students may also go on to work with international non-governmental organisations in the area of human rights advocacy, practice and promotion. the qualification is also relevant to careers in international human rights organisations, like un agencies for example.

Work while you study

You can also work on a UK student visa, from 10 to 20 hours per week during the academic year, 40 hours per week or full-time during vacations.
