Strategic Innovation Management

Firms that innovate will outperform those that don’t – and this msc equips you with the knowledge and skills to lead and manage innovation at operational and strategic levels. focusing on new-product and service development in larger organisations, in both the private and public sectors, you develop an integrative approach that combines management of the market, technological and organisational changes while learning how to create value from innovation. you’ll benefit from our collaboration with the oecd, sussex innovation centre, wired sussex and other innovative organisations. you’ll also learn from visiting speakers about their innovation management practices. to get a flavour of some of the topics covered on this course watch these short videos.

ELP programs are offered by universities or pathway institutions to assist students in achieving the language proficiency required for academic studies. You can get admitted to your course with a lower language requirement if you do an ELP program.

This msc will prepare you to lead and manage innovation at operational and strategic levels in a range of sectors, including: management consultancy product and service development business and technology analysis entrepreneurial and new venture creation and growth project or technology management global business r&d and innovation management general management in large, multinational organisations project-based organisations in the private and public sector.

Work while you study

You can also work on a UK student visa, from 10 to 20 hours per week during the academic year, 40 hours per week or full-time during vacations.
