Course Overview

After you finish our program, you will be ready to teach history and other social sciences at the high school level, including ap courses. you will have had real teaching experiences: observations, micro-teaching and finishing it off with a semester of student teaching. you’ll learn more about the topics you’ve always loved – and how to teach them. this program offers an accelerated master's degree (amd) sequence. this option gives high-achieving undergraduate students the opportunity to earn a master’s degree with only one year of additional study. once enrolled in the major, you can contact your advisor to learn more.

Work while you study
