The fcs teacher education program has a strong reputation of producing high-caliber teachers. it focuses on the fundamentals of teaching and prepares fcs teacher candidates in: human development parenting and child development sewing textile and fashion food, nutrition, and hospitality interior design consumer education our program meets the illinois teacher licensure requirements. teacher candidates can get an illinois teacher's license in a four or two-year degree program . graduates are qualified to teach 5th through 12th grades in all areas of fcs. endorsement options are also available.
