Course Overview
The department of family and consumer sciences offers a master of science or master of arts degree in family and consumer sciences with a sequence in interior design. the master’s program expands knowledge on creativity, sustainability, health and wellness, and evidence-based design. students can tailor this sequence to focus on theory and research and further develop their design skills in commercial design, cultural/global design, healthcare facilities design, and universal design. the sequence is suitable for both designers and architects who want to teach or become research practitioners, as well as those who want to advance their undergraduate degree as a practitioner in the field.
